Cronulla is an iconic Sydney suburb and when the storms are rolling in reminds me that it was once a wild place of sand dunes and scrubby sea forest. Take your mind back 200 years and imagine Cronulla as it was, a paradise, an unbroken Eden. We may pave over the land today, but the history remains, beneath the surface and in the air.
